We Registered!

Several of you have asked if we have registered yet and now I can say we have. We are registered at Pottery Barn Kids and also at Babies R Us.

If you'd like to view what we registered for you can see the Pottery Barn Kids registry at this link.

To view the Babies R Us Registry click on this link.

You can also search for Letty and Jason Bujak at either site and you'll also find the registry lists.

As a bonus, we learned that all the Dr. Seuss items at PB Kids are on sale until further notice. The sale should have ended after the 4th of July but it's still in progress.

I Failed My Test Today

We'll I failed my glucose test today but I was anticipating this. For those that don't know about the glucose test it is one of the easiest test to take. You simply drink a jug of what tastes like flat organge soda or what also reminded me of Flavor Ice (remember those?) and then one hour later you have blood drawn.

Gestational diabetes is common in women over 30, Hispanic women, women with a family history of diabetes and women who are more than 20 pounds over weight. I meet all of the criteria so my doctor called me this evening to let me know I need to take the follow-up test to confirm a diagnosis of gestational diabetes and understand my next steps. Stay tuned...

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish...

We have finally decided on a theme for the baby's room and it will be all things Dr. Seuss. Jason will be working on the baby's room over the next few weeks. If you have ideas to share let us know.

We're Back...

We're back from Italy and I am very happy to be back in Chicago!!! The song America from West Side Story comes to mind for me... "I like to be in America! O.K. by me in America! Ev'rything free in America, For a small fee in America!"

The photo from this blog post is from a baby story we checked out in Florence. This is a chain and I would summarize it as a baby and mom department store where you can buy everything from bottles and strollers to maternity clothing and toys. We didn't buy anything there but have been motivated to get thinking about the baby's room and start registering for our showers.

On a side note, several folks have mentioned they weren't aware of me posting photos from Italy. Although I still have some work to do in organizing photos and posting some of the best there are new photos from Florence and Pisa at our travel blog, www.WeAreInItaly.blogspot.com
