It's Almost Time...

... for maternity clothes. Today is the first day that I resorted to using a rubber band so that I could breathe in my jeans. After 17 weeks, I guess it's about time, but just to be safe think I will go shopping this weekend.

I Love Red Heads

I joke with Jason that I married him because he has blonde hair and I love kids with red hair (blonde + brunette = red head right?!). I recently saw this video on You Tube and can't get enough of it. Where do kids learn this and will our kid do stuff like this? CLICK HERE to watch the video.

Heartburn = Hairy Baby-- Really!

The last couple of weeks I have found heartburn to be a daily occurrence. Luckily I find the taste of TUMS to be tolerable. My mom says that heartburn means I will have a hairy baby. If any of you knew my Grandma Hilda (Ita), or have seen Isabella and Antonio (my brother's kids), then you know that me having a hairy baby is a very likely possibility. The interesting thing about this old wives tale is that there is fact to it. John Hopkins University did a study that found there is a correlation between the having a hairy baby and heartburn. So, only time will tell but until then I have TUMS to get me through the rest of my pregnancy.
