I'm in Charlotte this week on business and while flipping through the channels on cable in my hotel room I stumbled across a crazy show, Toddlers & Tiaras. Has anyone heard of this? I can't believe this is for real and that people watch this show but I noticed on their website it's in its second season so there must be an audience. I'm going to go out on a limb and say I don't think Jason and I will be pagent parents-- debate team or chess club parents, that's another story. I just can't imagine putting spray tan on a 5 year old.
I have to agree with you. I think it is just plain creepy how heavily made up the little girls are, and how obsessed their moms are to have them win. I wonder if the girls are actually having fun.Also, I fear that the pageants are an invitation for creepy molestors. It has happened before...
